Cheers to warmer weather, sunshine, lighter foods, and all that the summer months bring!
We are celebrating this Houston heat by bringing you a summer seasonal menu that is as delicious as it is healthy, nourishing, and eco-friendly. Seasonal produce harvested through sustainable practices is fresher and more nutritious for you. We wanted to take advantage of these benefits by centering each dish around fruits and vegetables that are grown in the summer months. These include strawberries, bell peppers, cucumbers, and avocados.
The Strawberry Fields Salad is our take on a classic summer salad. Spring mix, kale, spiced pecans, goat cheese, strawberries, red onions, cucumber, and mint citrus dressing. What’s lighter and tastier than a fresh salad?!
Everyone knows that Houstonians love their tacos. The habanero chicken tacos are made with a corn tortilla, chicken, avocado, onions, bell peppers, cilantro and creamy habanero sauce. These tacos have just the right amount of kick to compliment the summer heat!
The Avocado toast. Need I say more? Ezekiel bread, soft egg, crushed pepper, sea salt and virgin olive oil makes for an easy lunch that is delicious and full of energy.
